Paid polls: SBY wins, one round

Various pollsters, paid pollsters to be exact, have even announced the winner way before most people cast their votes. These pollsters have painted SBY-Boediono as the winner of presidential election, and overwhelmingly with one round only.

Pollsters closely-linked to SBY-Boediono have even concluded that the incumbent seals the victory in one round because he wins over 30% votes in Kalla's hometown in Sulawesi. These pollsters claimed SBY-Boediono wins between 50 to 60 percent, followed by Megawati about 27%, and then Kalla-Wiranto.

MetroTV's quick count pointed to lower range for SBY-Boediono, while an exit polls shown SBY-Boediono wins only 0.5% above 50%, which may be enough to seal the victory in one round. But observers believe it's way too early to call the winner of the election.
