Hagianto Kumala joins Delta

Hagianto Kumala, former CEO of PT United Tractors (UNTR) Tbk, has formally been appointed the new CEO of PT Delta Dunia Makmur (DOID), which acquired giant mining contractor PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA). 

The acquisition boosted Delta stock price from Rp410 in early May to Rp2175 in August, but since then the stock lost 30.1% to close at Rp1520 this week.

Born in 1946, Hagianto graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology in 1974. He joined Astra Group in 1971 and became CEO of UNTR in 1999.
