4,000 Students isolated from swine flu

At least 4,000 students of Islamic boarding school Dar-al Qolam, Jayanti sub-regency, Tangerang, Banten province are being isolated as about 80 students identified of infected by swine flu.
Hani Haryanto, head of health office of Tangerang Regency, told Antara News today that the students are not allowed to go home after examinations of one dormitory of 400 students found 80 students possibly infected by swine flu.
Hani said the students will be isolated for at least one week at the boarding school. All of the students have been given tamiflu.
On Friday, July 17, Hasan Sadikin hospital in Bandung confirmed eight patients infected by swine flu. Earlier on Wednesday, July 15, health minister Siti Fadilah Supari said there were at least 122 people injected in the country. On Thursday, ministry of health announced more positive suspects of 157 cases.
The number grew fast compared to late June when the minister announced eight swine flu cases.
