Seriously, though I do understand that money is hard to come by these days. Just don't make the free content *too* limited :)
Wouldn't it be better to have the current blog as it is free and add a more in-depth subscription only section?
I would definitely be willing to pay for more in-depth and frequent coverage. However, I would not pay for the blog in its current state.
Charging for information on the internet is a very risky business. Just look at the New York Times, they decided to let all the news content be accessible for free and charge only for their columnists.
The new service will be separated from the blog, it's more about exclusive items, in-depth reports & regular coverage.
I have no problem to pay. Your blog has so many information that would be difficult to get. I used to spend lots rupiahs to pay restaurant bills to fish for the same info from key figures..
dear sir Ardi, i am currently an undergraduate student from one of state university in bandung, i am weekly visiting your blog to catch up with news on finance and bussiness industries, i really lke to read ur blog, the opinion and the analysis, it just broadenin and enhancin my mind... really appreciate your works.. but since i have some money difficulties and access of catching up the latest news from source such as bloomberg, jakartapost, foreign investment magazine etc, i am really2 get a great compensation by viewin and reading yours, i appreciate your intelligent works but if its possible can you keep it affordable for even a lowbudget student like me?? or special discount for a student like me, coz i also recommend ur blog to some of my friend in campus... support you well mr ardi, ur works been so informative and mind enhancing to us... regards

the blog will be free still, you don't have to pay, so don't worry. I'm establishing a new web service only for exclusive items not available at any other publications.
