Ecco Leather expands in Indonesia
Ecco Tannery (Holland) BV and Ecco Leather BV from Netherland will build a tannery facility in Sidoarjo, East Java with total investment up to US$15.48 million.
Both companies eastablished a new subsidiary called PT Ecco Tannery Indonesia that would produce wet-blue and leather with installed capacity of 19,112 square meters respectively.Indonesia’s Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) awarded the license last year. Ecco Leather BV already have operations in Indonesia through PT Ecco Indonesia which manufactures branded leather shoes. The manufacturing facility is also located in Sidoarjo, East Java.
