Bayer merge two Indonesian subsidiaries

Bayer AG is merging two Indonesian subsidiaries PT Bayer MaterialScience Indonesia (previously known as PT Bayer Urethanes Indonesia) and PT Bayer Kimia Farmasindo (BKF) in an effort to boost efficiency.
According to an announcement made by both companies today, PT Bayer MaterialScience Indonesia (BMI) will be the surviving company.
BMI is the producer of polymer urethanes with production site in Anyer, Banten, while BKF is mainly engaged in the business activities of Haarman & Reimer, Specialty Products and Chemicals & Polymers. The company has one production site located in Sidoarjo, East Java.
In Indonesia, Bayer has four business groups i.e. chemicals, crop sciences, healthcare, and polymers. PT Bayer Indonesia handle all chemicals, crop science, and healthcare businesses.
